Basalt wetsuits are handcrafted in Japan, one at a time, by expert artisans.
Our Jersey 4/3mm is constructed of premium Japanese limestone neoprene with a durable jersey shell and recycled fabric insulated lining.
The suit is easier to slip on and off due to our curved front zip entry, low-profile ankle zippers, and an internal pull to help slide it off your shoulders and arms.
We offer free U.S. shipping on wetsuits and a 1-year manufacturing warranty.
Made in Japan
Handcrafted in a small Japanese factory of fifteen experienced makers. Patterns are traced and cut individually, then glued and blind-stitched one suit at a time. Each maker stamps the quality-control card with their personal hanko, leaving a record of the hands behind your suit.
Fit
If you sit between sizes on our size chart, we recommend choosing the larger size. A suit that’s too tight is harder to get in and out of and will wear out more quickly. A slightly looser suit will mold to your body with wear and may shrink a bit with age. See our Fit & Sizing page for help choosing a size.
Care
Rinse with fresh water after each use. Hang dry away from direct sunlight. Store flat or on a wide hanger to maintain shape.
